Visit to Chiddingstone Castle and Grounds In Edenbridge, Kent with Cream Tea for Two

Explore the ever-evolving historic house and grounds of Chiddingstone Castle with cream tea for two. With Tudor origins and Victorian rooms, the Castle has a rich and varied history. 

On arrival at Chiddingstone Castle, make your way to the main entrance where you will be warmly greeted and given a brief introduction to the history of the Castle and its collections. You can explore and enjoy the fascinating Japanese, Stuart and Jacobite, Buddhist and Ancient Egyptian collections at your leisure.                             

Once you’ve had your fill of history, indulge in a delicious cream tea with homemade scones, clotted cream, local jam and a selection of teas or coffee to enjoy. With access to the grounds, 35 acres of lawns, a lake, woodland and a stunning Victorian Orangery, expect a great day out.

This experience is available during the open season which in 2025 is from 1 March to 30 October. We expect similar dates for 2026 to be confirmed early in 2026.

The castle will be open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
