Mini or Junior Zookeeper family package at Hertfordshire Zoo

Create truly memorable experiences with your children or grandchildren, as you become Zookeepers. Each experience is completely unique depending on what is happening at Hertfordshire Zoo. With a host of fantastic activities planned, this is the perfect chance to see how zookeepers look after the precious animals in their charge. This is for between 2-4 participants, which must include at least 1 adult.  

Hertfordshire Zoo is in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire and is home to over 800 animals. It is also home to Aaron, Tyler, and Cameron, the stars of the BBC’s ‘One Zoo Three’. You can enjoy a full day out around your zookeeper experience, which will last around an hour. Hertfordshire Zoo has a host of other attractions including World of Dinosaurs, Tumble Jungle, Boulders Beach, Adventure Playgrounds, and the Rex Express Railway.

• Subject to availability
• Mini Zookeeper ages of children 5-8. Duration of zookeeper component 1 hour from 10.30-11.30am.
• Junior Zookeeper ages of children 9-13. Duration of zookeeper component 1.5 hours from 2-3.30pm.
• There must be at least one adult and one child for this experience.
• Minimum 2 people. Maximum 4 people.
• Does not include travel
• Hertfordshire Zoo will communicate the full information and confirm the booking date.
• Not all the attractions listed may be available, depending on the time of year.
